Question by : Why is there no Safari on my iPod Touch 3G?
I’ve seen another 3G iPod Touch with Safari on it, so why is it absent from mine?
I also have no App Store on the main screen. Though the “Settings” menu has a “Store” section, it only has “Apps” on/off option and setting it either way makes no difference.
When I go to “App Store” on iTunes “Store” on my PC, the only Apps I can download are for either iPhone or iPad, not iPod. So I don’t think I can get Safari into my iPod that way either.
I’m sure Safari should be on my iPod Touch 3G as default, but it never has been. How can I get it? I’ve often thought about trying to download other Apps for my iPod, but could never see how it’s possible. It’s never really bothered me but now a browser would be really useful.
I have a valid Apple ID, or whatever it’s called, but as yet I have found no use for it.
Thanks for the answers so far – it’s a 64GB iPod Touch. I have never seen Safari or App Store on it.
I do not know the passcode for Restrictions, but the Touch says Restrictions are ON. Any suggestions on a passcode? I’ve certainly never set one myself.
I have correctly setup my WiFi and am getting e-mail fine. But I can’t use the Touch to browse as I have no Safari and don’t know how to get it.

Go to settings then restrictions safari might be disambled go and undisamble it but u need a password someone might have done this as a prank or something well good luck

Question by : Appstore wont let me download apps?
Ok so heres the problem. When i first got my ipad i could download eney app. I jailbroke it(which is legal) and it was fine. 4 months later i go to appstore and when i try to download “download apps” to download Music,movies i guess,etc. The free or 1.99 or watever option,wont let me press it. Its just gray..
And when i download it from instalous IT WONT SHOW UP ON THE SPRINGBOARD BUT SHOWS UP IN SEARCH BUT WHEN I PRESS IT, IT DOESNT DO ANY THING!!!
PLEASEEEE HELPPPPP
and dont say to restore it becouse they havent found a jailbreak for 5.0.1 ipad 2

Jailbreaking is the obvious cause, I would re install original OS, It may be legal but also prevents you doing a lot of things, tell an apps computer that your not pirated?? It can’t tell the difference, all it sees is a jail broken iPad2, so stops you dowloading, possible piracy it may think? Why jailbreak it any way?

Question by : What’s this gozie.com spam on Youtube?
I know everybody on Youtube has noticed the “Free iPad” and, worst still, “Pocodot” scams in the comments for popular videos on Youtube. However, I’ve noticed a set of spam comments. For example:
“Screw Youtube, Gozie.com it is”
“I hate these forced Youtube ads, Gozie forever”
(etc)
I want to find out what Gozie.com actually is (whether it actually is a legitimate video site) but I’ve Googled the website and I’m worried that it will give me a virus or something! Is it a good website, or is it just another Pocodot?
Has anybody here been on gozie.com, or know what it really is?

I took a look at ‘gozie.com’. It seems like a place to post videos. If it’s like a scam website like Pocodot? I’m not really sure, bu you can do research on Google.

Question by : How do I get music from my iPad onto my iPod without using a computer?
I’m going to try to make this as short as possible but it’s a bit of a long story -_- so just try to bear with me please xD
I got an iPad for Christmas and basically ditched my iPod for a month or something when one day I realised “oh my! I need my iPod if I want any sort of entertainment in school or anywhere else!” I’m not gonna take my iPad into school, that’s for sure, or anywhere else for that matter, too precious :L so I thought “ok, easily solved, I’ll just hook it up to the computer, switch all the new music I got on my iPad onto my iPod! What could possibly go wrong!?! 
” ….apparently everything. When I connected it to the computer, I had no memory left on my iPod, and it seems that if you want to get the music from your iPad over to your iPod, you need to transfer all your apps too… I have A LOT of apps -_-”
But that’s just the beginning of my problems, whilst I was away trying to figure out how to delete stuff on my iPod, the computer basically imploded and died, so we had to get rid of it D: unlucky much?
So, is there anyway to transfer the music from my iPad on to my iPod (preferably JUST the music and not the apps) but I won’t be too bothered if I have to take the apps too, it just means I have to delete more. Also, it might be worth mentioning that it’s the same apple ID account thingy for both the iPod and iPad, so I think I need to sync them to get the stuff or something? I’m sorry if that confused you further, I’m probably talking complete nonsense I just thought it was worth mentioning xD

Question by what what?: Did I just get pranked?
You know those free pop up things that say “OH YAY YOU WON A FREE IPAD!!!” Yeah well I filled this survey out for it because I have heard about people actually getting free stuff from an add like that as long as it’s not the flashy kind so I filled it out and then the company called me today and said to expect my free ipad soon and a fed-ex truck was going to bring it by. Then he said I was missing 1 out of the 3 requirements so he asked me my age.. 18 then if I was in the military… I am not and then if I was married….also not married. Then he said “Well I am sorry miss but you are not eligible for it”
Well now I am pissed because he got my freaken hopes up then was all OH you have to be 19 to get one! Yeah fuck you dude!!! What the hell is so special about 19? WAS THIS A SCAM?!

Sadly, you were scammed 
As a rule of thumb, don’t ever fall for those pop-ups with offers that are too good to be true. Sometimes, but rarely, you will hear of someone getting it, but to get it ‘for free,’ you usually have to buy or do other things. For example, there was a free iPod pop-up, but in order to qualify for it, you had to complete 3 out of 5 offers which required you to pay money… basically, it’s not free. Also, they then get access to your information like email/name/phone number, so they can spam you some more.
So yeah… those people who do the “free ___” ads are jerks/scammers, so don’t give them the satisfaction of following through with it.
